For 46 years Wally’s Burgers on Kingsway was a Vancouver landmark. A local hang out where hot-rodders met to show off their cars and gather with friends to chow down on burgers covered in the famous Wally’s sauce, fries, rings and super delicious milkshakes all made according to the exacting standards of the founder Wally Stritzel.

Today

The Kingsway location was closed in 2008 and our family re-opened in 2010 at 49th and Elliot in the Killarney Center, and at Cates Park (2009) in North Vancouver (May to September). Though our Killarney location has closed, the heart of Wally’s lives on at our seasonal spot in Cates Park. We continue our family tradition using only fresh, local ingredients, with the same care and attention Wally’s has been known for over 65 years. From locally sourced meat to fresh-baked buns, we’re proud to remain a family-run burger joint committed to serving food that brings people together.

And for fans of our famous Wally’s Sauce— you can now pick up a bottle to take home when you visit us at the park!

Whether you’re a long-time fan or discovering us for the first time, we look forward to seeing you at the park and making your visit delicious and memorable!
